ReplyDeleteI think they are as ridiculous as Whoopi clearly does, HOWEVER, they were invited on the show, they agreed to appear even though they knew they'd be totally lampooned, and I think Whoopi just came across as frankly rude. Barbara made the "I wouldnt vote for you" comment which is a far more mature and dignified response than Whoopis jouvenile faces and actions...
ReplyDeleteIf any of the ladies had seen the past season they would have known Spencer was lying in regards to the Lauren situation. Calling him out for that would have made the interview at least interesting.

I really agree with Jessica above. Whoopi was very immature and rude, and needs to learn to be more professional. The show has controversial guests quite frequently, but they are usually still treated with respect whether the hosts agree with them or not. It seems like Whoopi has been very negative and childish lately. I'm not sure what it's all about, and it's sad because I used to really like her, but she is quickly changing my mind.

ReplyDeleteYou ppl need to calm down about whoopi! She is a grown woman, that actually had to WORK to get where she is and she was making faces at Barbara's serious tone... It is something she does often, do you forget she is a comedian, first? This is a talk show, the only person acying like it is a news show is Barbara (and rightly so, that is what she does), they are all there for the ''views''... Lighten up ppl, will you?

ReplyDeleteHonestly, like how can you say that Whoopi was immature? lol, look at these two people!! They do nothing with their lives AND he has the nerve to claim himself better than others?!?! If I were sitting up on that stage, I probably would have reacted the exact same way lol.. yes this show is aired and everyone will see it, but that's the whole point! Heidi and Spencer know what they're in for! It's the View lol.
ReplyDeleteAlso, how can you not laugh at Speidi? Honestly, they sit there all happy and even claim to be equal to the Obama's? Two people with no education, have zero respect for anyone but themselves, and say or do rude things to get attention. People who are famous for being famous have no life! And if you watch the hills, who are their friends?
I really think there are bigger and more important things to focus on, and these 2 are fun to watch humiliate themselves but are insignificant to the real stuff that takes place in this world. Their life right now is a fantasy, and one day it will bite them in the a**.
Whoopi is going to tell them like it is and show them like it is because if they want to take part in reality, they're going to get a reality check from those have no respect for them.

i agree with andrea, yea heidi and spencer are guests but like, how can you not look at them and think, "who the hell do you two think you are?" and based on that video of spencer, the view was promoting an asshole and his little bitch lol. mind you i enjoy watching it, but i'm also glad the view showed them - - goes to show how stupid they are, how arrogant they are, and how self absorbed they are. i'm sure those of you who agree with me were sitting at your computer with your arm hanging down the side of your seat lol.. it's just ridiculous

ReplyDeleteIf she doesn't like them and she has to be honest, come up with an intelligent, well thought out argument, don't act like a toddler who isn't getting what they want. A lot of interviewers wouldn't be interested in Whoopi but they'd at least be professional.
I'd love to see Whoopi's reaction if an interviewer did that to her.

ReplyDeletei love it when whoopi acts out! really? the majority of guest cant wait to run over to her and hug her and tell her how much they love her. to be in her presence is simply enough and yet she has to sit with these IDIOTS. She only acts like this when people talk out their ass which is ALL THE TIME. She prob loves the job for the hot topics. Why should a woman that busted her ass to get where she is take a couple like "speidi" seriously? really?

ReplyDeleteI was so bored during this whole "interview" with such boring guests. Not sure why ABC, THE VIEW, and Barbara Walters chooses to waste so much time with guests like these two (must be for ratings). They spent over 9 minutes on this segment! Compare this to the one with Melissa Gilbert (go to YaketyYak video tv061109d; June 11) that was only for 7 minutes and they barely let her finish any of the interesting things she was talking about. I was so frustrated when they cut off Melissa as she was very articulate and emotional.

Whoopi EARNED the right to treat these two "celebrities" like she did, over years and years in the business. They deserved a public flogging, and they got it. The View always delivers.
ReplyDeleteOh, for the love of God! Whoopi earned every last penny she has, has a viable production company and is a freakin' Academy Award Winning actress! She climbed the ranks in Hollywood over the last 25 years. She's informed and intelligent and carved a spot that only SHE can fill in a business full of women that don't look like her. She has every right to be as "jouvenile" (or as we write in English, juvenile) as she wants to when it comes to two cable reality show hasbeens who think it's cute to go on television saying "we don't read contracts" and yet talk about how famous they are and how much money they have.
ReplyDeleteWhoopi tried to impart some knowledge when it comes to business and contracts and it went right over their head. She did what she could do. It didn't sink in, so she was done.

God Whoopie was real bloody rude in this clip! I think Speidi are a-hole's and I'd rather chew my arm off than have to spend 10 minutes talking to them but at the end of the day they were guests who were invited on to the show and therefore deserve some damn respect! Whop is so self righteous banging on about respecting each other etc then treating two guests, who at the end of the day have never offended or harmed her, like pieces of crap! Don't be angry Whoop that your Oscar days are over....just accept the view is now your job and suck it up...stop acting like an ignorant pig...p.s kinda love how Heidi sprays her shapoo in final few seconds...bet it was just to piss Whop off...love it!

ReplyDeleteI think these highly paid actresses/celebrities (i.e. Whoopi) only think the world belongs to them. And that they are the only people on earth with a talent/the only people who actually work. Whoopi gets on my nerves with her immaturity and rudeness when guests who are not like her (i.e. Speidi) are on. Why in the world does she care what they do with their life or what they do for a living? It's none of her (Whoopi's) business.
ReplyDeleteI hate when celebrities who get paid millions and millions of dollars complain about stuff. If i heard that much money in my bank account, i'd be busy trying to help people than complaining or trying to figure out what Heidi and Spencer Pratt are doing.
So Whoopi needs to get over herself.

well bisty attacked her all out bitch fight!

it got so bad joy stomped off stage in the middle of teh segment!
and was pissed!
not to mention the famouse fight with rosie
and again while talking about abortion she was so out of control that babs repermanded her live
she acts out plenty!
