  1. You always spend and stop taxing (invest) during a recession. You always save and start taxing (save) during a boom. That's Political Science 101 material. Unfortunately, we didn't save during our boom. The Bush Administration cut taxes and spent trillions instead.

  2. Finances... I have been working in that sector for 3 years now... My small firm has taken quite a hit and I see this as a learning lesson (a very difficult and painfull one)but as a person trying to make these ''finance', guys look good; I work in PR (Investor & Media Relations mostly and some governmental affairs)I will attest, TESTIFY and without a shadow of a doubt claim the biggest problem with this industry is its GREED. It is its downfall, I have experienced it first hand, I have seen the under belly of this beast... These ppl no matter how big or small will sell their own mother out if it meant bigger profit or larger stock position! To minimize this by Mr Guliani's statements here is ludicrous. It is simply immoral and unethical and goes against the very principles of the public markets (transparency and performance)!!! This is true issue at hand and with the globalization of our markets, it affects every aspect of every sovereign nation engaging in its economic survival. Unless we hold these unelected ''officials'', name names, demand that they conduct ethical business practices and uphold them to the laws they so publically claim they respect... We will always be playing this blame game of the ''other'' party did it. It is sickening and heart-breaking to witness such a ',laissez faire'' attitude, such negligence by elected officials to engage in this status quo. Government does not need to be changed. Government should be forced to enforce the laws of their respective lands' and uphold the promises they were elected upon, period.

  5. he is an incredible man and a great leader. seriously.

and i'm very liberal. some liberals just cant see past the bs and learn to be able to realize when someone is a genuinely good leader and an all around fantastic man.

i can't stand this stupid divide of political beliefs. it's ridiculous, and it goes for both sides of the spectrum. if we keep going this way and having every republican hate every liberal and every liberal hate every republican, we're gonna have a rough future as a country. grow up.

  6. Giuliani didn't take ANY of the crap the Miss. Joy threw at him. He was an outstaning mayor and would be an incredible president one day. Thank you Lester for posting!

  8. Love the comments from the positive post-ers. :)

In a presidential candidate, you look for someone like Giuliani...calm, reserved and ready to battle against the liberals.

For those people that are Pro-Obama, can you please tell me what that 2nd stimulus package (with all the pork) contained other than money divided for unemployment and things of that nature?
