  1. I thought Whoopi was absolutely brilliant in this segment!
It a is bit annoying when Barbara cuts someone who's actuallymaking an interesting point and contributing to the discussion to add in an irrelevent detail or just reiterate what that person is saying.

  3. THANK YOU whoopi for making that distinction between the "extremists" and actual Muslims of this world. As a Muslim myself I find it extremely annoying whenever media labels terrorists and suicide bombers as "muslims" because no real Muslim would participate or condone these kinds of things. There are alot of misconceptions about Islam and the media is partly to blame but I agree with Obama that Muslims and Non-Muslims need to work together so we can eradicate these so called "jihadists" and "Osama bin Ladens".

  4. i don't usually post comments on these things but what the hell is up with elisabeth?

i love how she talks as if she is so integrated with the islamic culture in the states and for that matter the world-and for once i wish these ridiculous knee jerk-'republican' comments passed through a filter-of something like rationality.

she is absolutely entitled to an opinion but to jump out at any little thing without even considering where it comes from, properly is not republican or democrat-it's just stupid.

  5. democracy exist in many forms, and one country's way of operating does not translate well in another country.

i can't believe elisabeth reaffirms that image of americans that tried to shove american definition of democracy to the rest of the world. i'm glad joy called her out on that and said it depends on the audience. believe it or not, iran is a democratic country, though not in a sense like the u.s. aside from selected news snippets about islamic countries, do people seek out other sources before painting an image of a nation?

look at the national geocraphic channel program "don't tell my mother...i'm in iran"...that's a start..it's not as rigid - though not as free as is expected.

  8. Apparently EBitch wasn't paying attention to the seven points our President reviewed, one of which specifically, was democracy. She said he never even mentioned it...what speech did she see?
I watched in full and honestly, I teared up. I love Obama. I love him. Thank God above for him.

  10. Elisabeth is too busy watching only Fox "News" and their talking points. Her opinions are all stemmed from them and the commentators. This is why I make my own judgment by watching the President's full speeches, C-Span, and reading GENUINE unbiased websites which the tv shows might claim to be but aren't.

Anyway, good to see Whoopi again. She is definitely tired lol. Interesting to see her through the episode like this.
