  1. The first time I saw Steve Harvey was on The Tyra Banks Show and his advise to Christians was to NEVER marry a non- Christian! The minute he said that, was the minute I lost all (of what little) respect I had for him!

  2. Anon @ 12:05: I'm an atheist and I agree that interfaith marriages don't work, unless your faith doesn't matter much. Like a neocon and a bleeding-heart liberal getting married, you're just begging for arguments or a divorce. Sex, Politics, Religion are issues you'd have to agree on or avoid talking about.

That said, Steve Harvey needs to end this stupid book tour. I've seen him on about every talk show over multiple weeks, promoting the same book and bringing up the same points. It's boring.

  3. Steve Harvey has to reach out to the left. I don't follow him, but that's what you do in the entertainment & authoring business.

    Get over it folks.

  4. Instead of the onus being on women thinking like a man, it would be nice if men tried to think like women - if would make life alot easier!

Sherri your husband isn't a nice guy, he's a scumbag for treating you the way he did!

  5. You guys are just not thinking today. Seriously.

The man went out to create a "cute" book, much like the author of He's Just Not That Into You. There is no way that men could try to think like women because women don't know how to treat their men. Listen to Dr. Laura & maybe you would learn something.

  6. Exactly. He acts all comedic and makes funny faces in interviews like on Oprah. His advice is like advice from Sex and the City. Sure, have fun with it but DON'T take the advice seriously. It's just cutesy advice - none of this is valuable in a real marriage/relationship.

  12. To Anonymous @ 12:05,

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but perhaps Steve Harvey was trying to reference a scripture when he opposed interfaith marriages. 2 Corinthians 6:14 touches on this : "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (NIV)

I will admit that I am losing patience with Steve Harvey. He used to be so funny to me. Now, he just talks loud, and says absolutely nothing of true value. He's embarrasing himself...

  13. is this really worth having an opinion on? The real reason GOOD men cheat is because their wives are holding out in the bedroom. however, some men cheat to build up their self esteem...because they are sad humans...

  14. Figures that he is expecting WOMEN to change, yet have the men do nothing.

  15. @ 5.36 pm - please stop making excuses for men's cheating! How can you call a man that cheats "good"? It's a sad state of affairs that these men need to cheat because they aren't getting enough sex - how sad!

  16. there's already people who 'act like a lady and thinks like a man'. they're called - trannies...

  17. why did sherri just spill her personal business out there like that? even saying they got divorced because her ex husband got another kid with a different woman....

  18. @2.33 - I am not making excuses for men cheating. There is no excuse for cheating. I AM explaining WHY men who were once "good" men end up cheating. What steve said is right! Women have expectations for men and yet women cant be held to mens expectations. If a man comes up short because a woman came up short...he is no longer "good". bogus. I am not excusing cheating and i think there is no excuse for cheating. however, instead of trying to figure out WHY men cheat, Figure out what maybe was lacking to make your partner cheat. If he is honest, he will tell you whether it was something he wasnt getting at home, or his shortcomings. I do assume he will spare your feelings and tell you its all him.

Honestly, people cheat. if it wasnt human nature for people, it wouldnt happen.

P.S. i am not trying to say its human nature for everyone. its not. women cheat too...

  19. So...according to Steve Harvey a woman needs loyalty "meaning the man needs to know that you belong to him"...wth Steve? XD I already hate Steve Harvey for is very sexist and prejudice views against women and Atheists. He's such a narrow-minded dick; he doesn't even have a degree in this stuff, its all his stupid opinion!
