    I am so glad I found this book. As I was watching I nearly started crying. I never hated my mother, and she did not hate me. In fact it was quite the opposite. But she kept so many secrets, that like this woman, I didn't find them out until she died. She had moods and depression, became distant, and basically gave into a disease that took her life in her mid 50's. It was almost as if she committed suicide.

    Thanks Lester for posting the clip. I always felt alone in how secretive my mother was. It doesn't ease the pain but its good to know I'm not the only one who has a past like this.
