    her response to the qn "are you still in love with him?" is a little awkward...when she have to pause and not say yes straight away, it's pretty obvious that she's keeping the facade for her husband's career and children.

    is it just me or this woman is in denial? talking about 'the other' woman stealing her husband's spotlight for fame? why don't they take a dna test and just get it over and done with. geez...

    well, maybe coz she's dying soon and she thought it's easier to keep up the facade until she expire, and keep her husband's political image somewhat intact

    I think she is a particularly intelligent and brave woman. I think when she said that she didn't want this one thing to mark her entire life and relationship is very good advice to all of us. I don't think you should give the 'other woman/man' that kind of power. They didn't earn it.

    Elizabeth Edwards is a class act! I felt her responses were sincere and never thought she said anything to keep up a facade. Ive never been married so I dont know the pain of having someone be unfaithful. Her hesitation about still being in love with him was honest because she literally had the wind knocked out of her sail. I have no doubt that she is strong enough to get through this and continue making a new reality for her life. My prayers go out to her, John, and the children.

    I agree with both Madison Grace and Anonymous 2:27pm. Mrs.Edwards came across as sincere and classy. Her not wanting to give the "other woman" and spotlight is a particularly honest approach for a woman who has had her family threatened. I don't blame her at all.
