  2. I followed Tanya's story over the years and this is one of the first interviews in which she actually told her story. The cycle of abuse that Tanya speaks of is evident in the way her body posture THEN and now. To say she is lying is to deny what the years of abuse has done to her.

    From the beginning,Tanya was treated unfairly by the press and the International Figure Skating Association, because as Tanya said herself, "She's a redneck". In the glamourous world of figure skating this is not someone who should be representing the sport. ´

    That she didn't call Nancy personally to apologise is sad, but she did apologise. From Nancy's part, no one has ever asked her why she didn't call Tanya and say that she understood the difference between the person who actually did the crime and and the person who had to pay. A life time ban on the sport is rediculous. Proven dopping cases have gotten less!
