    gosh elizabeth is sooooo stupid... what does she mean that the tea bagging protests are a grassroots movement??... hahaha.. that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard. and for the hosts to call it a tea party,.. that's hilarious.. when the protesters call it tea bagging (if you dont know what it means.. go google it.. trust me, it's hilarious) those loonies at fox/faux news need to google that word and stop freaking using it!!!!.. they sound like morons.. but they do provide comic relief for the rest of us sane people. the teabagging rallies were organized by the rightwing moneyed think tanks.. and those teabagging rallies have no purpose..if you ask them.. they don't know what the heck they're protesting for. they're all screaming like headless chickens that they're protesting President Obama's economic recovery and tax programs and "socialism".. gosh Obama's tax plans benefits those morons.. how many of them make over $250,000 dollars a year??.. they just barge into the streets like idiots.. who want to continue reagan, bushII's tax plans to make the middle class suffer more than the top 1%. someone needs to explain that to them.. but how can you rationalize facts to an irrational person and irrational situation?.. it's just like getting elizabeth to listen to reason and stop ranting.. it never works.

    understand the concept of the tea parties, it makes sense..so to the person posting ABOVE me at "1:39", you might need to re-learn what the purpose of the Boston Tea Party and Act was...However, I do agree with you, and saying that these middle class conserv. people, who are protesting, most of them do make under 250G/yr, so they need to understand that they are benefiting from Obama, but over that, I get why they would be ticked.

    i dont know if anyone remembers but sherry wasnt as glamorous when she used to guest host on the view

    Firstly...i love joy, she is my favourite...bt i was really surprised at her with that comment about improving the way she looks. Though she has a valid comment about the view giving makeovers, i always thought Joy would have been making Whoopis points against maybe Sherri or Elisabeth.
    Bad move Joy, Whoopi was right, its great that the fist time it was all about the talent and not te appearance. Thats why she got such a good reception bySimon, the judges and the audience when she sang.

    All of the tax rates people are protesting today are Bush's....Obama has yet to implement his 250,000+ tax plan. I don't think the neocons...er, I mean "grassroots libertarians" realize this.

    And Joy is right! Let's get real here. Our sociery values beauty and judges people based on their looks. She is obviously going to get a make-over! That is a given. And I love that Joy pointed how many makeover The View does!

    I hate when people say you should ride a bike in the street. Im sorry but a person getting hit by someone on a bike will do MUCH less damage then someone on a bike getting hit by a CAR!!!!!

    I dont think Joy Owned anyone with that comment. All she did was feed right into what they were talking about. i mean Whop doesnt decide what is done on the show, also the people that get makeovers WANT them. So saying the lady needs one is another level of rude. (the eyebrow part was funny, but she could have stopped there) Its not like Joy is a beauty queen even with all the make up and stuff she wears. I love her, but to me this is no diff then when Bill O said that older woman looked like a witch (and joy was ALL over that) so is she in fact being a hypocrite......

    everyone should go and see that full clip of sonya singing. it is wonderful.

    though joy's joke was lame, her final point about being hypocritical is right on point. sure we say we should all be who we are, but then shows like these promote makeovers setting up this standard of what is beautiful. i appreciate that she at least set that out there.

    In New York City there are too many people on the sidewalk walking. For Christ sakes, they're expanding the side walk on Broadway! I rode the bike and I understand the dangers of it, but there are biking lanes and riding on the sidewalk isn't safe.
