    Another Barbara Moderator Day! Boy, am I thrilled (not!). Of course Dusty had to scream in her ear @ 8:10 because they were running overtime since Barbara just HAD to tell her story about the masks at the Peruvian airport for the second day in a row.

    Whoopi, finish your off-site business, whatever it is, and come back.

    And I wish Joy was able to get out her point without Barbara cutting her off (shocker). It was a very good point. Why are countries that don't eat pork (Israel, etc.) calling it the "Mexican Flu?" It's not coming from Mexicans. It's coming from the swine. Dubbing it the "Mexican Flu" appears to be making Mexicans the bad guys, when they're not. We don't call the Black Plague (or the Black Death) the "European Plague."

    I agree - Barbara keeps cutting off all of Joy's good comments. I liked Joy's point about people are going to use the Swine Flu incident to propagate the xenophobia many Americans already have of Mexicans "invading" their country.

    Oh my god SHUT UUUUUUUP Barbara!! I don't even have one specific example where I want her to SHUT UP I just want her to SHUT UP full stop!! She's like the doddery ol aunt that you have to listen to and pretend you care about what she is saying, even though you have no idea what she's on about. I feel so sorry for them having to work with her!

    I think Barbara is sweet and she's used to an age where people didn't have to YELL to get their point across. Sherri doesn't yell much either but it seems as though when she talks, others at the table listen. Joy yells, Elizabeth yells and Whoopi is a bit overboard. Barbara is quite classy and I notice they cut her off too many times.

    i also find it very odd that here in France they call it the mexican flu. The news lady last night tried to explain why and said something about there not being a formal name for it, which is bull, so i'm still confused.

    H1N1 is just a virus subtype of influenza A... they represent the type of proteins on the surface of the influenza virus; neuraminidase 1 and hemagglutinin 1. but they should call it by the swine influenza name...
