Elizabeth has got to be the most annoying woman on the planet
ReplyDeleteElizabeth needs to realize that people don't like Republicans because of the mess the last 8 years put us in. That's why nobody cares if they dissent, because it's meaningless and has already caused us a lot of trouble.

ReplyDeleteand is it just me or does whoopi incessantly say that this is something that needs to be placed in the laps of repubs and dems. but, who doesn't know that? and, i'm sorta tired of hearing joy say "because of the bush administration"... we know that! folk need to quit talking about who needs to be blamed and just discuss the issues in terms of what these decisions may mean for the nation. why are they shying away from that discussion?

True-Elizabeth is mostly just parroting talking points. When Rachel Maddow was on the other day Elizabeth couldn't make a single point stick because there's no substance behind what she says. I understand they want to keep the political arguments alive and well, but it should be ppl discussing current topics with facts and arguments based in reality. Elizabeth just comes off as if she's blowing a lot of smoke and like nothing more than a plant without a real point of view.. which is what the show is supposed to represent.
ReplyDeleteThe economic problems in this country boil down to the 'haves' and 'have nots'. It is the 'haves' who put the country in this predicament. Being a republican or democrat is just a smokescreen. Both play for the SAME team.
ReplyDeleteBasically, the 'haves' committed economic terrorism and are getting away with it. They get a bailout, but have a hissy fit if someone wants to help the 'have nots'.
yes elizabeth totally gets on my nerves too! its as if the girl grew up in a box where hannity and o'rielly fed her tiny little phrases about how the world works, and thats all she knows. I must say though, this show would not be nearly as fun to watch without her stupid comments
