  3. i wish they would have used this segement to speak about something other than racheal being gay
not that i mind she is but we know that
and she is so smart it woulda been great to touch on deeper subjects

  5. i agree with "texasmama" the time spent with Rachel could have been focused better on what she does best, not her sexuality.

  6. President Barack Obama... Elizabeth. It's not Barack Obama. Always she says this.
And that goes for all these news commentators.

  7. RACHELLLL

it's so wonderful to have an intelligent sensible woman on the panel
one who doesn't just blabber biased opinions, but actually knows what the fuck she's talking about and fairly explains her thoughts.

elizabeth trying to argue with rachel is hilarious because it just highlights how truly dumb she is, not that she needed it to be highlighted.

she would blindly follow republicans through anything and always find shit to talk about everything barack obama does even when it turns out to be a success.

  8. I love Rachel Maddow. They did dwell too much on her sexuality. She's an intelligent political commentator. That's why people watch her show. Politics should have made up the bulk of the discussion. That said, I love that she is out and doesn't shy away from discussing gay civil rights issues etc. on her show

  9. I Love rachel maddow and haven't watched the view in weeks, but did today in anticipation of rachel being on! BUT, leave it to the view to talk about totally inconsequential things with a Rhodes Scholar with a doctorate. I can't believe that her interview was so short and most of it wasted talking about her personal life.

  10. Good for Rachel! Why not discuss her orientation? She's not exactly a weak guest. If she wanted a topic off the table, it wouldn't have been discussed.

  11. i advanced directly to this segment, as i enjoy and learn so much from Rachel Maddow. Since she only had a five or six minute interview, i was surprised that The View spent so much time on her personal life. i was glad that they did not ignore her life (i.e. being gay), yet this woman is brilliant, and why not spend more time discussing the political thoughts that inspired a hit show. the show just got started when suddenly it ended! Anyhow, i love rachel and wish her and susan all happiness, i must admit i think that Susan is a lucky woman indeed...

  15. I've never heard about Rachel, but I wish they had discussed more indepth issues other than her sexuality. All I really gathered from this interview is that she's out & proud, nothing wrong with that, but I'm sure there's much more to what she does than that.

So Elizabeth is just find calling him Barack Obama....that's his name...Right!
