    I think that Whoopi needs to start watching shows so she doesn't always look confused. It just brings down the whole segment.

    Almost everyone in society is a follower that tries to please others by conforming. I think that's just stupid. Whoopi is not a follower which I admire about her.

    though i watch AI, i appreciate that whoopi couldn't care less. i think it keeps it in perspective.

    but as for AI, they shouldn't make these pronouncements about them after only showing 10 secs!

    I understand Whoopi not wanting to watch these shows but I think she should try to be a little more familiar with them as it seems both Barbara and Joy have. They discuss AI every week its part of her job just as it is to keep up with the relevant issues and news stories happening so they can talk about it on the show and actually have an opinion on it. Them bringing up the shows, showing clips, and her just rolling her eyes the whole time gets a bit annoying after awhile.

    I think both AI final contestants suck and I applaud Whoopi for not watching. Although Whoopi has been getting on my nerves lately, I feel she saved this segment.

    I really wish Whoopi would give up the eye rolling, etc. when the others talk about their reality shows. She makes the segments so much longer when they have to stop and explain everything to her. She should eat her apples when they do those type of segments.

    I totally agree with you. First off, let me say that before Whoopi joined the View, I was a huge fan. I still think that she is a great actress. However, her personaity type does not work well on the View at times. I have watched her try to humiliate both Joy and Sherri when they tell jokes. She is the only one who will try to make them feel stupid, or act as though their jokes aren't funny. She does that blowing her lips gesture & throws her hands over her head...as if to say the joke flew right over her. Then there is her constant need to correct Sherri. (OK...I'll admit that Sherri needs a little help at times...) I HATE when she destroys the Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, DWTS, and AI segments with her 'I don't care' attitude. It annoys me beyond belief. They pay her to have an opinion. Not to sit up there with this confused look on her face. It's getting really old.

    I actually like how Whoopi hates those reality shows, because it gives an alternative opinion of them. Everyone else seems to be sucked up in all the commotion involving American Idol and DWTS. It's nice to see someone who isn't and is not afraid to say so.
