    Barbara should stay away a couple days longer. Give us enough time to miss her. They really need to have Kathy Griffin on again. She'd really make the show more interesting.

    Someone is always going to be discriminated about something--gay, straight, too fat, too skinny, too black, too white, too ugly, too pretty. It all goes to show that happiness doesn't depend on what anyone else thinks of you, it's all how you view yourself.

    I think it's very easy to say "be happy with who you are", but so much of what we think of ourselves comes from family, friends, and the media.. .someone has to reinforce you with a healthy attitude about yourself, otherwise you really are pulling that out of what you see everyday (which, sadly, is greatly influence by the tube). Elisabeth's just pissed because of how many times she's probably been called a skinny, blonde b*tch... if she wasn't a the latter, people would likely flood her with compliments about her figure... he being so darned mousy doesn't help, either.

    I myself am someone who is considered underweight but I don't starve myself at all. It is irritating to have people telling you that you are anorexic if you aren't, just because of your body type.

    Here is my rant! Is it just me, or does anyone else get mad when someone is talking and Joy interrupts or interjects with her Nazi/Hitler comment. She brings it up every week, and sometimes a few times a week (even when interviewing guests), and usually in a very odd manner.
    Barbara was trying to describe her wonderful vacation to Argentina, discussing visiting Eva Peron's mausoleum, and Joy just blurts out (around 3:00in the video) something about the Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele (some Nazis hid in Argentina after WWII). Her Nazi comment was out of place, rude, and Sherri had a great quick comeback asking Joy if Barbara would just "drop in" to visit a Nazi living in Argentina. haha.

    But Joy does this way too often, and makes the whole conversation come to a blunt halt, probably making everyone uncomfortable and they are not sure what to say next.
    Luckily here, Barbara just moved on quickly to talking about visiting the waterfalls.
    You would think by now, someone at ABC or The View would have told Joy to stop those out-of-place Nazi comments.

    I agree with Sherri about the cultural thing. Because i must say... that girl would get NO PLAY where im from, NO thighs NO butt. And im thin for my height BUT my damn bones are not poppin out, no one wants to look like that skeleton cept people with problems.... just my opinion

    This is the ONLY time I have ever agreed with Elizabeth but I agree 100% I am NATURALLY 5'6, 115lbs, and while I have been trying to gain weight for YEARS JUST to dodge the nasty stares and comments on how "thin" I am...I do believe I have a great body. I feel as if I have to hide it for some reason. If there was someone severely obese, she would be praised as a BREAKTHROUGH for the beauty industry but someone severely underweight is put through so much hatred over sympathy. That pageant girl obviously has something wrong with her digestive system if she ISN'T anorexic, though. Cause that there, aint NO WHERE near natural.
