The woman reading the Tarot cards really kept her cool. Bitsy was very very rude. First time I had to write about what annoying B**** she was.... Aaaaaaaargh
did Elizabeth not want to know her baby's gender or did she just not want the audience to know? Yeah, she was definitely ruining the segment's feel because Whoopi was getting into it, and she had to go touch the cards and keep asking questions
Elizabeth was very disrespectful. She may not believe in tarot cards or psychic readings, but there are other people that do. Of course, she couldn't go a segment w/o putting her two cents in. Typical Elizabeth. Props to Whoopi and the tarot reader for keeping their cool.
She has a complete right to be disrespectful, it's all such bullshit. I'm sorry (well, not really), but things as stupid as reading someone's future from cards deserves little respect, it has no foundation. I'm so amazed people commenting on this are calling her disrespectful while calling her "Bitsy".
She doesn't have a right to be disrespectful at all. I personally don't believe in Tarot card readings, but I still believe that Elizabeth should have been more respectful. Especially because the reading was for Whoopi, and Whoopi wanted to be open to what the lady had to say.
I don't know how Tarot cards work, but if Elizabeth didn't interrupt so often, then maybe Whoopi could have had more cards read to her. I think it was interesting for me mainly to see Whoopi's reactions to what the lady was saying
I don't believe in this stuff but Liz was very rude. Me thinks the psychic was a bit annoyed with her behavior and wanted annouced the gender in spite. Please let it be a girl.
I will laugh if the baby is a girl XD but then again, it is a 50/50 chance so it wouldn't say much if it was. But yeah, the whole premise of this show is hearing different views and discussing them without getting personal! Today the hosts behaviors violated that premise =/
Why was Bitsy in on this segment??? She's so anti- this kind of stuff, let her sit in the back room while Whoopi, who was interested, get it done. "Spooky cards" LMAO!
I have to put my two cents in. I agree, Liz needed to not be in this segment. She is so useless to the show. If the others, minus Barbara, weren't so entertaining, I wouldn't want to watch at all. Sherri was at least funny despite feeling strongly about her position.
HA! I am HAPPY she announced what the gender was. Elizabeth and Sherri are very uncomfortable with spirits, mediums, psychics and the such but the bible, their religion teaches that these things VERY WELL EXIST. So for them to be skeptical about the spirit world is a direct contradiction to their religious beliefs, lol!
I have to add my voice to the chorus here... Elizabeth was just downright rude to this guest, and there's no justification for that At All...
Look, Elizabeth, your producers get somebody to come on your show, they are your Guest (please look that up in the dictionary: the word 'guest'.. thank you), and you act like a snotty 14 year old out to make an unstated and obnoxious point, like a newly-minted vegetarian at Thanksgiving dinner... If you were so anti- whatever this woman represents with her ANCIENT system of symbols (her skill with which she was demonstrating for you, which skill your co-host Whoopi seemed more interested in as the piece went on), then why were you in this segment at all? Why didn't you ask to be excused?
Bad form, Mrs Hasselbeck, bad form indeed.... I would have expected more from you in simple politeness alone.........

ReplyDeleteBitsy is showing her "ass" as normal. Always got to be putting her 2 cents in. Hope she is having a girl to prove the lady right.

ReplyDeletewhat a bitch....she could just smile it off...and she gave an attitude and said she don't need to ifnd it out in some spooky cards...geez
ReplyDeleteI love the psychic simply because she annoyed Elisabeth, lolol.
ReplyDeletehorrible attitude
ReplyDeleteif she didn't believe in this thing, why did she invite the psychic to read the cards in the first place?

love it ... this is why i love the view
ReplyDeleteElizabeth gave birth to a boy. Guess the woman was wrong? But she had no reason to speak to her in that way either. Congrats Liz.
ReplyDeleteI was really hoping Elizabeth would have another girl -- the fact that it was a boy, gives Elizabeth another dose of self-satisfied smugness.
