Elizabeth doesn't know what she is talking about. The drunk driving thing: it's a strict statute - you have a specific blood alcohol content that you absolutely cannot go over, and your blood alcohol is determined by an accurate breathalyzer - there is no interpretation, no getting around that, so Judge Sotomayor is not going to say "let him go". 4th Amendment "unreasonable search and seizure" has been interpreted and reinterpreted for many years though, and you need a deep understanding of case law as well as the real world.
ReplyDeleteJudge Sotomayor also said, in that same speech, that everyone has biases, she acknowledges them and tries to check them in at the door. She was also the dissenting judge in a case, where she defended a white police officer's right to free speech even though he was distributing racist literature from his home. Oh, and Obama didn't say that it would JUST be about empathy, he also talked about the rule of law in that same speech. Elizabeth doesn't know what she is talking about.
Wow elisabeth really is about as red-state as they come, through and through.
ReplyDeleteHow Did Richard hatch get invited for Season 10 over survivor? He was on Season 1, and again on All STars- in season 8. Right now it is Season 19, the second all start competition was Fans Vs. Favorites Survivor 16. I think whoopie got it wrong
