    First of all, Joy doesn't make sense more than half of the time. Second of all, Eminem's career isn't dead. He just released an album and he's a producer so I'm not sure what you're talking about. The fact that he put his life on hold to spend more time with his daughter? Geez Anonymous, didn't know that was such a bad thing to do.

    someone's sexual prefenace shopuld not be broyught out into the public domain...
    well, tell Barbara this becaise SHE is the one who kepy pressing Kara on the question of whether Kara thougt he was "out" if you look back at the vidoe- BW pressed her on that.

    I didn't say him spending time with his daughter is bad. All I said was that his career is dead or close to being dead. Even if he releases an album, he is in no way one of the top singers/rappers today. Nothing wrong with that. 50 Cent is the same thing. Dr. Dre is the same thing.

    I love all the concern about the language during the award show when people allow their young children to watch MTV on a regular basis. MTV has some of the most awful content on it's regular programming.
    If the SBC & Eminem stunt was staged, they got the press they wanted. If it wasn't and Eminem was clueless to it, as disgusting as that was, Eminen was a b*tch about it. He is the biggest BULLY of the music industry but he can't take it when it comes his way. Record sales mean nothing . Eminem is a LOSER. PERIOD!!

    in wrestling, we have a word: "work," meaning to "work" the audience. to make someone believe something is real. Eminem and Cohen totally "worked" the audience at that show. Eminem working it better than anyone. You know Cohen said, "Let's do this," and Eminem said, "Sure, man. I loved Borat. I've got an album out and you've got a movie coming out. Let's get each other over." It's so funny how so many people reported this as news.

    Those of you that say that Em's career is dead are obviously out of touch. In the first week of sales he sold nearly 700,000 copies which is no small feat in this day and age considering all the illegal downloads. In under a week he has already sold over 2 million copies worldwide. His career is far from dead.

    Christopher you're entitled to your opinion but my comment was addressed to those that try to label him as irrelevant. His is the best selling artist of the decade. Whether you think he sucks or not give credit where it is due.

    Carole.....although i do agree that Eminem has sold his albums well, he is not the best selling artist of the decade. no, unfortunately it seems he is in competition (and even i don't wanna say this) with the likes of N'SYNC, BRITNEY SPEARS, & NELLY for that title. i would have guessed that MARIAH CAREY would have been at the top of that list. given her whole career, Mariah has achieved more sales (but she also started in 1990...haha).

    Eminem is nothing more than a re-dressed, white and more offensive Dr. Dre. Dre created Eminem....and you can't deny that (just like he created 50 Cent). do you see a pattern here? 50 Cent & Eminem both had the biggest selling album of the year they were released. and what do ya know, Dre was behind it all.

    I like Dr. Dre, but there is only one Dre for me.....and that's MAC DRE!!!
