    According to one of my lecturers (I study Psychology) in cases of kidnapping and murder if a victim says the perpetrator was a black man, it's taken as a big indicator by investigators that they may be lying about the nature of the crime. So Whoopi's right on one level blaming a black guy isn't all that smart.

    I have to agree with Sherri on this one. It angers me to no end that a White woman is still able to say a Black man harmed her and the forces spare no expense in trying to find this Black man. She's also right in that it paints an image in people's minds about Black men that is not true. Yes, some Black men kill, steal, rob, drink, curse, do drugs, etc. But so do White, Asian, Latin, Mexican, French, English, etc. Simply, nothing is exclusive to one ethnic group. She didnt do it because she is racist. She didnt even do it because she is stupid. She did it because she knows, if even just for a moment, that she will be believed and people will be sympathetic to her. ANYONE who claims a fake charge should be put underneath the jail with no chance of parole.

    They're not a news show they talk about different topics that will lead to an interesting debate and discussion when they disagree on things. Not surprised they haven't really discusssed Prop 8 during Hot Topics. What is there really to say or discuss besides just reporting what took place?

    i would like to hear about the ladie's feelings on prop 8, although i know what the conclusion will be.........it would just be nice to YES, shove it down our throats again (no pun intended)! you thought it was bad before....get ready for the gay-shit-storm now!!! regardless of whether or not The View discusses it.

    Who cares about Prop 8? Not me at least. Now a days, people cant even have a debate on the subject without being attacked by the gays and the gay advocates, so why discuss it? Elizabeth is not going to say a whole lot and the discussion would be over in 2 seconds. They've already said on a previous show that they only discuss topics that they can carry on for a least a minute. So, Congrats to the gays! You've attacked the gay marriage adversaries so much that people have decided to just ignore the subject all together and let whatever happens happen, because it's no longer worth discussing. Thumbs up!

    I agree with Whoopi and Sherri in this segment. The whole "IT WAS A BIG BLACK GUY!!!" routine is getting a little old. Most black men have no interest in kidnapping white women or anyone else for that matter. Chances are, if a black man decides to commit a crime, it will be a drug or theft related crime. In other words, it will be a ploy for quick and easy money, not some long, psychotic kidnapping. Crimes like that are usually carried out by crazy WHITE men. LMAO

People want to hear bout Prop 8 whether you and your homophobic self like it or not; it is a case that has serious civil liberties ramifications! I'm sure anyone with any degree of intelligence could talk about Prop 8 for more than 1 minute! And I resent your assertion that gay people are going to "attack" anyone else for a differing opinion! You're found of the hyperbole aren't you? Not all gay people are like Perez Hilton, who quite frankly is an embarrassment to the gay community! I say this all as a gay woman!
