I agree with Whoppi on the difference between men and woman. When you're horny, you're horny LOL. And men do have all this medication to keep them going at older ages while women don't.
men think about sex alot..yes..but it's not all consuming..sometimes just sexual images flashes through our minds, lol. but if we're busy doing work, it just passes. lol
oh, and we can still fantasize and do whatever it is we're doing.
Whoopi & individuals that think like her lack the ability to have relationship intimacy. They view sex as an act that is just pleasureable, without feeling the emotional attachment to a specific individual (hopefully in a marriage or at a serious commitment level).
However, the Whoopster was just arguing with people too much in this segment. Stop being so darn opinionated!
Whoopi is right. It's highly individual how much you think about sex. Sometimes, I can't believe how much stereotyping is going on at The View. Then again, they're all women so the discussions tend to get rather biased at times.
I'm a man and I know plenty of women who are thinking about sex waaay more often than I do. Most women are just used to keep it to themselves because it's not as socially accepted for women to enjoy sex moreso than the men, and if they openly do they're labeled as sluts... but again, it's very individual.
I think men and women think about sex roughly the same amount, but if I had to pick I'd say women think about it more. This is coming from a guy with both male and female friends. The girls I know talk about sex much more frequently than any of my guy friends. I think about sex a lot but it's rarely consuming, and I can keep it to myself.
Barbara says that because she knows they are getting off-topic and people would view the show as "un-watchable" because of the tendency to talk too intensely on a subject material.
She also knows that she has two co-hosts that are nuts and overly opinionated.
And at the point she has said that, she knows people are staring at the screen going, "Wow...these ladies are weird."
I'm a guy and I don't think about sex like breathing air! lol. Since I'm not a woman I don't know how much women think about sex, but you have your fantasies here and there but it's not all-consuming.
Also, I think sex is a multi-faceted thing. Sometimes it's very passionate and in the moment. Sometimes it's an expression of love in a relationship. Sometimes you just need the release to unwind from a stressful day. LOL

That made me Lol. Talk about stereotyping.. So if they were men it would be different?
But while it was a hilarious segment, there was a lot of generalising going. When we start to disregard individual preferences and personalities in favour an all-encompassing view of society, we get into trouble. Sex is different for everyone, although everyone thinks about it.
