    Politically I lean more towards the left usually and vote democrat more often then not but I have to say it would NOT be a good thing if the democrats ruled the country for 40 years or any long extended period of time. Its never a good thing to only have one party controlling the country.

    I would much rather have another major political party emerge. I think its awful that we're one of the only countries with only a two party system. Its impossible for only two parties to possibly represent the entire nation and cater to everyone's needs. Democrats and Republicans aren't that much different these days.
