    elisabeth's late arrival was sweet and lighthearted, and i had hopes that maybe, like yesterday, she was lightening up a little. then she diminished the heavy burden that is on obama right now, and *poof* all my hopes were lost. sad.

    The IMF has stated that the UK economy is in a much better state than the US and that the UK will emerge from the current ecconomic downturn sooner than the US.

    Just the facts folks.

    We're all in this together.

    This is a global issue.

    The world needs to act as one.

    The UK is NOT looking to the US to fix us....thank you very much.

    I now know, for certain, Elisabeth brings down the quality of discussion. Even Sherri turns dumb when Elisabeth shows up. Also, everything I've read states that England's recovery (as well as most of the world's) is hinged to ours (as our financial markets are painfully linked). So :P::::: You may recover more completely sooner, but not without us and our efforts.

    the great Queen and the First Lady are both Capricorns.
    I'm sure they'll get on VERY WELL.
    Europe would never have messed up the worlds econ like the U.S. did. Hats off to Europe! I have great respect for folks who know what respect is.

    ... hopefull not for much longer! At the next summit ( and at this one) there was great support for an new interntional reserve currency as the dollar is weak. Hopefully this will take America down a peg or two and we will not got into this mess again.
    p.s. leave the Queen alone!

    BTW if you ever left the US you might find that there are other currencies doing a whole lot better.
