i bought a $5.00 wastebasket from the dollar genral it works great i dont know that i would spend $30.00 for one if i wanted something a litte fancier i would go to wal mart and spend $10.00 funny whoppie and barbara speaking as is if they can relate and shop (clearance)
I'm with you, texasmama101. The last wastebasket I bought was 2.00 at a garage sale. I love Joy too but I've had the same wastebaskets for over 17 yrs during which I've moved 7 times. Most of them are wicker and I line them. :0)
right on vikkie i love garage sales i get my kids clothes from there looking brand new for 25 cents it killed me when whoppie said "she only shops at places that she knows noone have touched it" ok.... good for you whoopie! she can be so snobby sometimes
Sherri is definitely not the brightest bulb in the tanning bed. Check her "extemporaneous" comment 5:02. I knew that she didn't know the true meaning of the word when she first uttered it.
in defence of the high pricing by the top stylists - they made a mark for themselves in the industry, and their skills requires a higher amount of money, for they provide services other stylist cannot compete with. it's a little subjective in those kinds of industry, but for instance, if you work in a company for a long period and contributes more than others, obviously you want a raise...
Whoopi made a good point about us spending our money on different things. I love buying books, and some of my friends think that's ridiculous, but they think nothing of plonking down £70 for special shoe-polish for a pair of shoes that cost £700 & they go on to admit they'll probably wear them once as they would stand out too much if they repeated them again.
I'm still in shock about that wastepaper basket. As for having to pay all that so you have a particular hairstylist with you, I have to remain speechless, otherwise I'll end up writing an essay here....LOL
