Ang is around 83 or 84 yrs old.

ReplyDeleteYes indeed, Angela is a very classy and yet unpretentious person. And an incredible actress. Go rent/watch some of her original movies (yes, in black&white, oh my) and also Murder She Wrote. such fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteBUT, did anyone else realize the "connection" that Angela's role in this new Broadway show is the same as the role Whoppi had in the movie "Ghost"??! Whoppi was also classy in not brining up the almost but also not so obvious connection (since we hear about it all the time on the show anyway).

ReplyDeleteIt's a shame Ms. Lansbury lost her 3rd Oscar nomination to Duke in 1963.
Ms. Lansbury deserves to be recognized with an Honorary Oscar for her outstanding contribution to the art of film.
