Do any of the other non- Americans find it weird that these audiences will give raucous applause to relatively minor things? I'm not complaining, just think it's a little weird.
I think they are cued to applause, they are in a fun and festive mood and Americans are generally more expressive aren't they? People don't scream as much in other continents when a talk show host calls them up. But then again we dont have the likes of Ellen and Oprah, do we?
